Some of our Recent Projects
Integrated Logistic Support Training for Defence Equipment Engineers
A series of 6 workshops have been designed for UK Ministry of Defence engineers to provide a link between theory and practice in the management of engineering logistics for new acquisition and in-service land, sea and air equipment programmes. Revision of previously completed e-learning studies is reinforced with practical syndicate exercises on a range of typical defence equipment platforms.
Safety Programme, Maintenance and Procurement Audits
Detailed assessment of programme and contract elements have been conducted on a range of projects including the A400M heavylift aircraft safety programme for the RAF, safety management, and planning for automated Saturation Diving Systems on new Diving Support Vessels in the offshore industries, and an upgrade programme for the RAF’s Boeing E-3D Sentry AWACS fleet.
United Nations Aviation Fuel Management in the Sudan
An initial 6 month contract was awarded by the United Nations to build 6 fuel farms to initiate UN flight operations in the Sudan. Undertaking the task management on behalf of the contractor, these fuel farms were built and made operational within 2 months and were able to accept UN support aircraft for refuelling. As a result of this success a follow on contract to build a further 20 sites around the country over a 12 month period was approved. All these sites varied in capacity from a standard satellite site 90,000 litres to 1.5 million litres for a sector HQ site. The team also procured all the equipment needed to build these sites in a very short time scale.
During the follow-on contract, the UN required the temporary flexible fuel bladders to be replaced by permanent steel tanks. A suitable contractor was identified in the Sudan to construct the tanks using our design guidance.
